One Retreat. Two Distinct Settings.

Trails End Retreats offers two unique venue experiences: Trails End and Chestnut Lake; designed to meet the needs of different group sizes and retreat styles.

While each setting has its own personality, they operate as a single, seamless retreat campus. Staff, dining, and activities can be shared between both locations, giving groups flexibility without sacrificing connection or quality.

Our Flagship Campus for Larger Gatherings

Trails End is our primary retreat venue, ideal for larger groups and full-scale events. With more expansive meeting spaces, lodging, and amenities, this campus is designed to comfortably host conferences, corporate retreats, weddings, and multi-day gatherings.

Best for:

  • Larger groups and multi-team retreats
  • Structured programs, meetings, and events
  • Guests seeking a more traditional retreat experience with a full range of amenities

Trails End serves as the operational hub of the property, with easy access to shared staff, catering, and activities across both campuses.

An Intimate, Rustic Retreat Experience

Chestnut Lake is a smaller, more rustic venue option within Trails End Retreats. Nestled in a quieter setting, it offers a relaxed, nature-forward atmosphere that’s perfect for smaller groups looking to unplug and reconnect.

Best for:

  • Smaller retreats and leadership offsites
  • Groups seeking a more intimate or rustic feel
  • Creative, wellness, or reflection-focused experiences

Chestnut Lake maintains full access to Trails End Retreats’ professional staff, dining services, and activities—combining simplicity with support.

One Team. Shared Experiences.

No matter which venue you choose, both campuses are fully supported by the same experienced Trails End Retreats team.

Meals, programming, and activities can be hosted at either location—or thoughtfully shared between the two—creating a cohesive experience tailored to your group’s size and goals.

Not Sure Which Setting Is Right?

We’re happy to help you choose—or blend—what works best.

Some groups stay primarily at Trails End while using Chestnut Lake for breakout sessions or special experiences. Others book Chestnut Lake as their home base and take advantage of Trails End’s expanded amenities.

Tell us about your group, and we’ll help design the perfect retreat.
