Outdoor Adventure

The Outdoor Adventure Course at Trail’s End consists of team building and challenge activities. This exciting program is designed to push perceived limits, foster communication and enhance leadership skills. Outdoor Adventure is broken down into three categories with each being physically, as well as mentally demanding. Our experienced facilitators are able to customize your curriculum to match the goals of your event.

High Challenge Elements

Individual Training

These high elements are designed for individual achievement and will push each participant to re-define their comfort zone by building self-confidence.

Climbing Wall- Our wall has 2 climbing sides with varied difficulty. The further you go up our 30’ wall, the more difficult the climb.

Canopy Tour Zip Line – A thrilling, 650 foot zip down a steep embankment, over our pool and into our trees.

High Challenge Elements

Group Training

These obstacles are cooperative in nature and focus on two or more individuals working together to accomplish their goals.

Leap of Faith – The higher you climb, the more difficult the travel becomes. This activity requires your partner’s help and is perfect for building trust, cooperation and communication. Your goal is to jump from a 35’ perch and ring the confidence bell.

Dangling Duo – The higher you climb, the more difficult the travel becomes. This activity requires your partner’s help and is perfect for building trust, cooperation and communication.

Flying Squirrel – One participant is pulled 35’ high and released by team members to swing through the trees. This is a fun and thrilling ride that enables a group of people to take part at once.

Cooperative Elements

Experiential Learning

These tasks are a series of problems given to groups to work on cooperation, communication, and leadership skills, while developing trust within the individuals. Cooperative elements may or may not have props as part of the problem. They are designed for groups of 8 to 12 individuals. These challenges are perfect for goal setting, observational leadership and group bonding.
